Countdown to UGA-OSU: 21 Days (Josh Parrish)

Note: Parrish will wear #55. He's been a late addition some depth charts I've seen this summer, and with no #21 currently on any roster that I can find, we'll review Parrish today.

#55 Josh Parrish, OL
6-4, 302, Norcross GA (Wesleyan School), Freshman

Parrish was an Georgia Class A All-State performer for the 2008 state champions at Wesleyan. He spurned an opportunity to play football at Princeton, for a chance to be a preferred walk-on at UGA. Obviously, the fact that he had a chance to play at Princeton tells you that he's a pretty bright fellow.

Depth Chart Analysis: Ugasports.com (Rivals' Georgia site) lists Parrish as the 3rd team right tackle behind Clint Boling and another walk-on, Casey Nickels. That's probably a little misleading, as the fact remains the Dawgs have starters and backups at other positions on the offensive line that would like get shifted in the unfortunate scenario where Boling suffers an injury.

Famous #21s in UGA history: RB Frank Sinkwich (1942 Heisman Trophy Winner)
