Countdown to UGA-OSU: 20 Days (Marquise Brown)

Note: Brown will be the offensive #10 on this year's team, sharing the number with DB Jordan Love. There is no #20 currently on the roster that I can find.

Marquise Brown, WR
5-11, 180, Lanham MD (Episcopal), Jr.

Brown transferred to UGA after beginning his college career in 2006 as a walk-on at South Carolina. After coming to Athens prior to the 2007 season, he took a redshirt while working out on the scout team. Last season he appeared in 2 games, and took big steps toward seeing playing time in this past offseason. He caught 3 passes for 62 yards in the G-Day game, and was named Most Improved Player after spring was over. Brown's father is former Washington Redskin and 2-time NFL Pro Bowler Charlie Brown.

Depth Chart Analysis: Brown has impressed on scout team and this past G-Day, so it wouldn't surprise anyone to see him get some time on the field in 2009. His bloodlines are compelling. Keep an eye open for #10 on offense.

Famous #21s in UGA history: RB Fred Barber, FB Jimmy Paulos, FB Julian Smiley, RB Thomas Brown
