Countdown to UGA-OSU: 10 Days (#10 Jordan Love)

#10 Jordan Love, CB
6-0, 185, Glen Allen VA (Deep Run HS), True Freshman

Despite only being rated a 3-star recruit by some services, Love was recruited like a 4 or 5 star player, with scholarship offers from schools like Florida, Penn State, and Tennessee. He chose the Dawgs just before his senior year began. Most recruiting services were unanimous in naming him the #1 cornerback in the state of Virginia. Like most of UGA's cornerbacks, Love can absolutely fly (4.4 speed.)

Depth Chart Analysis: Richt has already stated that all true freshman corners are going to play this season. Love may play as much as any of them, if he can get healthy. He's been either sidelined or in a green jersey for the past week with an ankle injury. Before that, he might have been a legitimate candidate to make the 2-deep at corner. Expect to see Love on the field quite a bit this season.

Other famous #10s in UGA history: QB (and NFL Hall of Famer) Fran Tarkenton, QB (and former head coach) Ray Goff, QB Larry Rakestraw, QB Eric Zeier, QB/DB Chris Welton, S Thomas Davis
