Countdown to UGA-OSU: 71 Days (#71 Cordy Glenn)

#71 Cordy Glenn, OG
6-5, 330, Riverdale GA (Riverdale HS), Soph.

Glenn might have been the biggest surprise among the incoming freshmen in 2008, starting 10 games at either guard spot. He was a good prospect coming out of Riverdale, but I don't know if anybody expected him to be one of the most versatile and durable pieces on last year's line. He was on just about everyone's All-Freshman team, and heads into the 2009 season as a player to watch for potential All-SEC honors. He was good last year, but he still has alot of room for improvement. He's got the potential to be one of the greats that have worn the Red and Black in the trenches.

Depth Chart Analysis: Whichever guard spot it is ultimately decided that he's best suited for, that's where he'll start. Alot of other pieces fall into place once that is decided. He can also fill in at the right tackle position if need be. Again, more versatility from a Stacy Searles coached offensive lineman. (We have a theme developing here, in case you haven't noticed.)

Other famous #71s in UGA history: DT David Saye, OT George Foster, OT Adam Meadows

I love Stacy Searles. I cannot believe how many solid, versatile OLinemen we now have in Athens.
