Countdown to UGA-OSU: 54 Days (#54 Tanner Strickland)

#54 Tanner Strickland, OG
6-5, 325, Nashville GA (Berrien County HS), RS Soph.

If it seems like Strickland has been at UGA forever, its probably because he committed to UGA so early in his junior year of high school. His career at UGA thus far as started slowly, after a redshirt in 2007, he did play a good bit last season - playing in all 13 games providing depth on the offensive line. During recent offseason workouts, he suffered a bad shoulder injury that is going to require surgery, causing him to miss the upcoming season. There is no denying that Strickland has the talent and size to play at the collegiate level, but with the experience that will be ahead of him when he's healthy next season, he'll have alot of work to do to ever be a starter.

Depth Chart Analysis: The shoulder injury has him out for this season. He's expected to fully recover in time for 2010 spring drills.

Other famous #54s in UGA history: WR Art DeCarlo, C Curt McGill
