#45 Christian Robinson, LB
6-2, 210, Norcross GA (Greater Atlanta Christian School), RS Freshman
Robinson wasn't as highly regarded as you might think by the various recruiting services, although he had scholarship offers from a number of big time programs in the Southeast. He committed to the Dawgs right after his senior season at GAC. He's got a nice blend of speed and strength, and looks like a quality, solid player for the Dawgs at some point before he leaves. He broke his arm last October in practice, which set his development back a little bit.
Depth Chart Analysis: Heading into last season, I thought that Robinson might be good enough to play as a true freshman. That didn't happen. Heading into 2009, Robinson may have passed Akeem Hebron as the #2 option at Will Linebacker heading into August. Expect to see him on the field quite a bit for the upcoming season. I still think he's going to be a very reliable player.
