Countdown to UGA-OSU: 80 Days (Rantavious Wooten)

Rantavious Wooten, WR
5-10, 160, Belle Glade FL (Glades Central HS), True Freshman

Wooten was a steal for the Dawgs out of Florida in one of the best national WR crops in recent history. Wooten was rated a 4-star prospect, but yet was barely thought of as one of the Top 25 WR prospects in the nation. Still, the Dawgs were pleased to land him and expect big things out of him early in his career. He chose UGA over just about every big program in America, including Florida, Auburn, LSU, Miami and Michigan.

Depth Chart Analysis: Richt has mentioned Wooten in more than one interview that I've seen this offseason, which leads me to believe that there is a good chance he'll play this year. The assessment of alot of people is that WR is a thin position this year, although personally I don't see it that way. Regardless, it doesn't look like Wooten is going to get a redshirt this year.

Famous #80s in UGA football history: WR Damon Evans, TE Dennis Hughes

"Wooten the ball carrier....he could go...he could go...he could go"

I'm excited to see him in action for sure.
