Countdown to UGA-OSU: 79 Days (#79 Justin Anderson)

#79 Justin Anderson, OL
6-5, 330, Ocilla GA (Irwin County HS), RS Soph.

"Bean" was one of the more heralded offensive line prospects ever to sign with Georgia in 2005, an extremely rare blend of size and athleticism. He was expected to contribute early at UGA, but academic issues sent him to Hargrave Military for a year. He ended up redshirting in 2007, but came on pretty strong in his redshirt freshman season, starting a number of games in 2008 and proving to have quite a bit of versatility. He's an important cog on this year's offensive line.

Depth Chart Analysis: I listed Bean as an "OL", because there is really some question as to where he'll end up starting. Alot probably depends on Trinton Sturdivant's development and recovery from his preseason injury last year. Anderson can play both guard and both tackle spots, but right now he's probably slotted into right tackle unless Sturdivant gets back 100% by the start of fall practice. Once Sturdivant is well and ready to assume left tackle, Clint Boling moves back to right tackle and Bean ends up at right guard, where he's most comfortable.

Other famous #79s in UGA history: OT Tom Nash, OT Matt Stinchcomb, OT Wilbur Strozier, OT Jim Wilson
