Thanks Baltimore

I know this is primarily a UGA blog, but what's on alot of folks' minds today in the great State of GA, are the Falcons. Specifically, the fact that Atlanta controls its own destiny once again for a playoff spot, thanks to a great outcome last night in Dallas, who also just happens to be yours truly's most hated professional franchise. Thank you to the Baltimore Ravens from Falcons fans everywhere. At least now if the Falcons don't make it, we can blame it on our own team, as opposed to having to watch the Cowgirls be the team that keeps Atlanta out of the postseason. That would have been tough to take as a Cowgirl hater. Of course, Atlanta wasn't supposed to win 4 games this year anyway, whereas the 'Girls were everybody's write-in for the NFC rep in the Super Bowl.

If there is a more fitting way to close out Texas Stadium, I can't imagine what it would be.

One thing that struck me in this montage of highlights was just how biased Deion was. He didn't even try to cover it up. I'm guessing that he told NFL Network that he was going to be that way before he did the game, but they told him to go out there anyway. Pretty funny.

As a Falcon season ticket holder for over 30 years, I can honestly say I have never been more shocked in my life by this year's team. I guess I can get a little greedy now and ask Santa for a Saints victory this coming weekend. How amazing would it be for this team to get a bye in the playoffs!!! Just remember the last three NFC South champs have gone from worst to first!!!
Go Falcons!!!!

As any good person should, you should always hope for a saints win! I will be at the game and will be cheering for the whodats however for my own selfish reasons, and it surely won't be so the DurtyBurds can get into the playoffs. However as much as I hate the falcons, I do respect them for what they were able to do this season. Geaux Saints...and don't forget to sign the petition to shave tony kornhole's head!

I love the hatred shared regarding my beloved Cowboys. This weekends matchup against the Eagles should provide much entertainment. As much as I love the Cowboys, I have to say, even if they make the playoffs they hardly look like a top tier team in the league. I don't share equal hatred for the Falcons though and frankly think it's great they're making a playoff appearance. I'd definitely enjoy a Cowboys/Falcon game if possible!

Schlitzy, I am watching this Cowboys Eagles game as we speak. It does not appear as if you'd be entertained by it. Ugly stuff here.
