Georgia/Auburn highlights

There will be absolutely no excuse if Georgia doesn't shut down Auburn this weekend. Their offense is anemic. Here are some Georgia/Auburn highlights from back when Georgia used to play defense:

Oh, I beg to differ. There will be plenty of excuses coming out of the UGA camp if Auburn isn't blown out. Richt will all but call out the players like he did yesterday with no repercussions to the coaching staff.

Goodness gracious, we are only favored by 8 points over these turkeys this weekend. That was a cold slap of reality that hit me in the face as soon as I read that.

Over the last few days I have read comments like the one anonymous @ 2:33 left. Not real sure why a coach who has won over 70 games in his first 7 seasons is being jabbed like that. Can anyone answer that?

1. 80 in 8 years, 90 in 9 years. Who cares? When you're wrong, you're wrong.

2. Have you watched any games this season (excluding LSU) when you thought to yourself, "man we have a good defense"? Take out a few games last season and it's the same thing all over again.

3. I applaud Richt for protecting his coach, but acknowledge there's a problem, and don't lay it all on the players. Sounds an awful lot like Jim Donnan here recently in these PC's if you ask me.

4. Ultimately the praise and the blame fall on the head coach.

What was that digit next to "Auburn" in the second video? I'm not familiar with it on its own. I mean, I've seen it preceded by a 1, 2, 3 or 4, but just 0? Confusing.

Yeah it's a beautiful thing AFM. And only Tennessee this year brings a more pathetic offense against the Dawgs than Aub.

At the risk of sounding blasphemous, it wasn't Larry Munson who had the best call of Odell's play, but rather Matt Stewart on the CSS taping.

He simply said "Goodnight, Auburn."

So that's how you play pass defense. Huh.
